宁夏师范学院简介：
宁夏师范学院是经教育部批准，由宁夏自治区人民政府设立和管理的全日制师范大学。宁夏师范学院位于宁夏南部山区六盘山脚下的历史名城固原市。它的前身是1975年经自治区党委批准成立的六盘山大学。时任中共固原地委副书记的胡其力同志兼任筹备组组长和党的核心小组组长。1978年由宁夏固原市人民政府批准成立的宁夏六原师范学院。1993年，经教育部批准，更名为固原师范学院。2006年2月16日，经教育部正式批准，固原师范学院由专科升为本科，更名为宁夏师范学院。宁夏师范学院有两个校区，占地1500亩（其中新校区1300亩，老校区200亩），建筑面积15.25万平方米。现在新校区一期工程即将竣工，二期工程即将开工建设。目前，学院现有教职工500余人，专任教师400余人，高级职称教师占教师总数的34%，硕士及以上学历教师（含研究生）占31%。学院设有16个系（部、中心），11个本科专业，35个专业专业，面向全国20多个省区开放招生。At present, there are more than 5400 students in the school, of which 26% are ethnic minority students.
