排管的设计是冷库设计中的重要一环，传统设计中一般都同时设计顶排管及墙排管，但在实际操作中墙排管有以下几方面不足之处：
（1）易于积油，传热效果不断下降。
（2）堆叠货物后难以进行热氨冲霜及卫生清理。
（3）占据相当的空间体积。
因此设计冷库排管时，不要设计墙排管，全部设计成顶排管。设计顶排管时，为了冷库的均匀供液及今后对排管冲霜的方便，建议每个单元流程的蒸发面积不宜大于400 Ill ，否则，库内供液难以均匀，降*冷效果．同时冲霜时间过长，库温波动较大，冲霜期间的滴水量较多．对库内物品的质量，特别是外包装物影响较大。
